Transfer Station Working Group · Meeting of May 28, 2026

NEW MARLBOROUGH — Transfer Station Working Group approves mission statements bound for Select Board. The group voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and forward draft mission statements for the station and working group, along with a formal mandate, to the Select Board for review and approval. Gardiner Morse presented a signage overhaul plan designed to simplify messaging and create a more welcoming station identity, with support from Chair Freddy Friedman and Marc Trachtenberg.

Marc Trachtenberg reported topographic survey work complete and a point-of-sale system on track for mid-July launch, pending full testing with Finance and staff training. The group deferred discussion of revised attendant job descriptions to its next meeting.
