NEW MARLBOROUGH — Transfer Station Working Group finalizes attendant job descriptions, plans station redesign. Meeting attendees included Freddy Friedman, chair; Tara White; Marc Trachtenberg; and Gardiner Morse, with Charles Loring III arriving shortly after the 3:30 p.m. start. The group approved prior minutes and refined job descriptions for station attendants, with Attendant 1 to handle fee collection and scheduling.

A proposed redesign maintains the capped landfill while widening turning areas for hauling; Roger Trucking has endorsed the plan. A pending grant application with a maximum award of 8,000 dollars could cover two containers; decisions are expected in fall. The group reviewed point-of-sale hardware and discussed Spanish-language signage options.
