Select Board · Meeting of April 27, 2026

NEW MARLBOROUGH — Select Board approves three contracts and Gould Farm signage. Chair Beth Dean and members Tara White and Bill West unanimously ratified employment contracts for Fire Chief Charles Loring ($15,000 annual stipend), Highway Superintendent Charles Loring ($110,745, a 10 percent increase), and Town Administrator Mari Enoch ($67,027, with cost-of-living adjustment). The Board also renewed the lease with New Marlborough Volunteer Fire Company at $18,000 per year and approved temporary signage for Gould Farm's May 30 5K race, to be posted two weeks prior and removed within 48 hours.

American Legion Post 350 reported it will not relocate veterans' monuments to a site with a revocable lease, preferring permanent placement elsewhere in New Marlborough Village.
