NEW MARLBOROUGH — Planning Board approves Hayes Hill Road subdivision, prioritizes compliance work. Chair Robert W. Hartt and the board unanimously approved an Approval Not Required subdivision on Hayes Hill Road, consolidating a non-conforming parcel with an adjacent property to create a 7.6-acre zoning-compliant lot.

The board identified three priority areas for the remainder of 2026: ensuring compliance with the state Flood Plain Bylaw, establishing regular Building Inspector attendance at Planning Board meetings, and researching zoning approaches to limit large data centers and regulate signage displayed by home-based businesses operating vehicles. Upcoming meetings are August 25 and September 8 at 6 p.m.
