NEW MARLBOROUGH — Planning Board approves protective bylaw changes for public hearing. Co-Chair Jordan Archey coordinated with Building Inspector Matt Kollmer on code alignment and confirmed Kollmer's attendance at the June 1 Fire House hearing. Town Counsel–recommended revisions include cannabis cultivation clarification, removal of commercial greenhouse language, and reclassification of slaughterhouses from permitted use to Special Permit review in rural districts.
The board will review public comments and consider further changes before the June 29 Special Town Meeting.
