Only One of Seven Recent New Marlborough Deeds Carries a Recorded Price So Far

New Marlborough recorded seven property deeds between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only one listed a sale price by the time this report was compiled. That sale, at 201 Stratford Rd, closed for $750,000 on Sept. 1, with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and Morgan Stanley Private Bank N.A.

New Marlborough recorded seven property deeds between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only one listed a sale price by the time this report was compiled. That sale, at 201 Stratford Rd, closed for $750,000 on Sept. 1, with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and Morgan Stanley Private Bank N.A. as the buyers of record. The other six transfers, spread across six different streets, are still awaiting price data at the registry, which typically posts within about a week. Several transfers involved trusts, town entities or banks rather than conventional individual sales. With most prices unavailable, the data does not support a read on whether the market ran hot or cold this period.
