NEW MARLBOROUGH — Design Review Committee endorses Town Hall renovation program. All five Committee members, led by Chair Chuck Loring, reviewed a comprehensive program from EDM architects Tim Widman and Edward Daniels that includes seven departmental offices, a meeting room, a multi-use communal space, and shared facilities distributed over two floors. The Committee reached consensus on the program and expressed preferences for a central, symmetrical addition, an elevator, and flexibility in layout.
Project Manager Dan Pallotta presented accompanying newsletters for public distribution; the Committee requested review before release. The design team will continue developing two approaches with detailed sections and 3D renderings.
