Conservation Commission approves deck reconstruction and ecological restoration discussion.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 19, 2026

NEW MARLBOROUGH — Conservation Commission votes unanimously to issue Order of Conditions for deck and retaining wall work at 77 Laurel Banks Road with strict tree-planting and monitoring requirements. Chair Kristin Hoffman's five-member board, including Conservation Agent Marty Summers, also approved a Certificate of Compliance for a 2004 septic system on the same property and tabled an ecological restoration project by Zach Adams of Trout Unlimited pending completion of other permit checkpoints. The commission extended one month's time for property owner David Jacquier to secure a professional consultant for unpermitted tree removal at Konkapot Road, flagging that an Enforcement Order will likely follow if requirements are not met by April.
