NEW MARLBOROUGH — Planning Board chair mulls leave of absence over Town Hall conflict. Robert W Hartt, chair of the New Marlborough Planning Board, outlined his potential departure due to participation on the Town Hall Renovation Committee, with members discussing a gradual transition of administrative duties to the Vice Chair. Meetings are set for the second and fourth Wednesdays at 6 p.m., with a decision on Hartt's tenure through year-end deferred to a later meeting.

The board identified three priorities for the year: a state-compliant Flood Plain Bylaw, a Building Code review, and digitizing Planning Board materials.
