New Marlborough Agricultural Commission reorganizes with new leadership and farm census plan. All five commission members—Jake Levin, Michael Mugridge, Tom Brazie, Matt Ferrara, and Christian Stovall—met to establish the group's direction following the election of Levin as chair and Mugridge as vice chair. The commission agreed to conduct a comprehensive census of local farming operations and to hold public information sessions addressing misinformation about agricultural practices, particularly regarding meat processing operations.
Members will meet monthly at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month starting September 1st and plan to invite all town farmers to participate in the census and a special topic meeting.
